Gospel of John    Written in the 90s AD by John the Beloved.  This is John, the brother of James who were referred to as the "Sons of Thunder."

Just to help you out, John's brother, James, was killed by Herod in Acts chapter 12. 

The other James you need to know about is James the brother of Jesus, who wrote the Book of James, and is the one who did NOT believe in Jesus during His ministry.

One of our impotant topics for class is "glory."

We are going to do some study on this topic of God's glory. It comes up in John 1, when it states that "We beheld His glory...."  (verse 14). Did some see His glory and others did not? What exactly is "glory" anyway? This "glory" is as the "...only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."  Is the glory full of grace and truth or is it Jesus that is full of grace and truth?   Or does it all go together somehow? Let's look at the word "glory" in the Book of John.
